We start now also here on the blog with the preparations for the Festival of Sacrifice – Eid al-Adha – Kurban Bayramı. Because I especially like to give out small gift packs with sweets for small and big guests, as well as friends, family and neighbours, I have prepared handicraft templates for you again this year.
YOU NEED:
- dattelbeere crafting set “Sheep box”
- Scissors
- Glue stick
- Sweets
PRINT OUT CRAFTING SET
The first thing you will need in order to begin crafting is the matching craft kit for this blog post. Either you download it as a file and print out all the elements at home or you use my new printing service. In case you don’t have a high-quality printer or high-quality paper, you can always just check out my shop and have the craft kit directly sent to you. Or even if you would just like to start on it without any major organizational effort.
CUTTING OUT MATERIALS
To make your work easier, I have adapted the sheep boxes from last year. In the craft kit you no longer get templates that you have to transfer to cardboard, but the finished box for cutting out, which you simply cut out along the lines.
FOLD & GLUE
Now that you have cut out all the boxes, fold them along the edges and, in the first step, paint the adhesive surfaces of the triangle that lies opposite the sheep’s head. Fasten the adjacent triangles and press them firmly.
Fill & seal
Now you fill the boxes with the little things you want to give away. I decided on little candies. But also coins, good wishes or dates are offered. Finally, coat the last two adhesive surfaces with glue and press the sheep’s head firmly as a lid.
YouTube Video
Would you like to watch the instructions on video? With pleasure! Definitely check out mydattelbeereYouTube channeland watch the videos showing my DIY crafting ideas. Of course, I would be even more delighted if you subscribe to it, since the dattelbeere community should grow there as well.
Now it’s time for the great craft work. I am curious how you like the new sheep boxes. Be sure to let me know if you like the adaptations and the time savings that come with them. If you’re rebuilding the sheep boxes, I look forward to receiving a post and a @dattelbeere mark on Instagramto admire your sheep.
Kind regards & many greetings
