Receiving presents is great but wrapping them yourself is even greater for me. Especially, because who doesn’t like to bring joy to others, more so, if wrapping presents is so much fun and done with great gift wrap. Do you already know the new gift wrap from dattelbeere that we recently brought out just in time for Celebration of Sacrifice/Eid al-Adha/Kurban Bayramı? In today’s blog post I will show you how you can effectively and affectionately set the scene with your presents. In addition, I have brought some colorfully coordinated gift tags with me that tops off any present. Let’s start.
YOU NEED:
- dattelbeere ‘sheep & Kaaba’ gift wrap
- dattelbeere ‘gift tag’
- Packaging paper
- Gift foil
- Ribbon
- Scissors
- Hole puncher
- Tape
- Craft glue
- Small honeycomb ball
GIFT TAGS
The first thing you will need in order to begin crafting is the matching craft kit for this blog post. Either you download it as a file and print out all the elements at home or you use my new printing service. In case you don’t have a high-quality printer or high-quality paper, you can always just check out my shop and have the craft kit directly sent to you. Or even if you would just like to start on it without any major organizational effort.
Plain & noble
After you have wrapped the present in packaging paper, you will cut out the gift tags.
Afterwards, you wrap the top third part of the package with ribbon a couple times and pull different gift tags though the loops.
Pompous & fancy
After wrapping the packing paper around the present, you will need to take the hole puncher because we want to make confetti ourselves. In order to make it colorfully coordinated, I punch holes in the dattelbeere ‘sheep & Kaaba’ gift wrap.
Now you wrap the present in gift foil so that the ends overlap and meet in the middle. Before you finish it up with the ribbon, you spread some self-made confetti in-between the present and the foil.
During the final step you choose matching gift tags and there you go: your pompous and fancy present is done. You will certainly make a good impression with it.
Sheep & Kaaba
Our new gift wrap is a real eye-catcher. The paper strength is thick enough to create high-quality haptics and thin enough to easily wrap presents. The hand-made design not only lets children’s hearts jump for joy.
Instead of crossing the ribbon in the center of the present, it makes it more interesting to move that point a bit to the side for a change. The colorfully coordinated gift tags perfectly match the pattern on the paper.
Mosque & Honeycomb Ball
For this version of gift wrapping your presents, you will need a honeycomb ball. Take that honeycomb ball and cut it smaller by folding it and making a cut with the scissors. This will be used as the dome of a mosque.
Take the craft glue and glue the honeycomb dome onto the middle of the present.
For the rest of the mosque, including the two minarets, cut the gift wrapping paper and glue them underneath the honeycomb dome.
Attach the gift tags and you are done.
DONE!
Your individual, unique and especially pretty wrapped up presents are done.
I hope you like the ideas and that I inspired you. I definitely wish you lots of joy while wrapping up the presents and giving them away. Please tag me with #dattelbeere in social media, so that I can admire your creations as well.
Best wishes & Salam
